I have always found it really amazing how old couples can keep away from low female libido even if they’re at the prime of their lives. With me and my husband at age 33 and 34, it’s completely the opposite and anybody can see it quite clearly. This was true up until a year ago when I decided to put a stop to it once and for all.
You see, I was able to come up with a combination of natural techniques that actually entice the body to bring back the old flame of intimacy. Not only did it save my marriage, it also kept me healthier and more active.
But before I tell you about the whole thing, let’s talk about how getting low female libido have an effect on couples of all ages. Quite plainly put, it’s low sexual drive in females. I learned way back in nursing school that you can find basically two hormones that affect a woman’s libido. They’re estrogen and testosterone.
Estrogen plays a really crucial role in a woman’s reproductive system. It regulates the normal menstrual cycle along with progesterone, an additional female hormone but isn’t associated with libido.
On the other hand, testosterone is mainly a male hormone that is responsible for their oozing sexual appetite. Although in really minute amount compared to males, testosterone is also present in females and it acts quite similarly as in males.
Up to 38% of ladies mentioned yes in the recent survey and I was one of these ladies a year ago.
If you have this too, you aren’t only putting strain into your own health but to your relationship with your husband as well. Not wanting to have sex for long periods of time isn’t healthy at all. This has to be resolved to prevent long term health effects for example hormonal imbalances and depression.
What I did was pretty easy really. I created it a point to avoid fatty foods that I used to eat on a daily basis; I passed on the big macs, fries and soda. For breakfast, I always have cereals for fiber and made it a point to have a serving or two of fresh fruits. In addition, I take a weekly jog at a local park.
I often miss to practice them religiously but what I never stopped having is the supplement that a Filipino nurse colleague of mine recommended.
Luckily, it worked like a charm for two years and counting! From that moment on, I said goodbye to low female libido.
