The Whole Story Behind Heart Disease

If the sole substance that build-up on the inside the walls of the arteries were cholesterol, it would not get hard and the flow of blood would wash away the stuff. But, when that cholesterol binds together up with calcium, the combination of the two becomes hard. That is why the real and honest term is supposed to be the “hardening of the arteries”.

All in all, we still have to go back to the basics. If your cholesterol level in your blood is within safe range, then, there would be no cholesterol to pile up in the coronary arteries and cause heart attack – after all, calcium won’t deposit if there is no cholesterol buildup in the arteries alone without cholesterol.
